Families and community groups
To all the families and community groups who took part in Children's Mental Health Week, we want to say a huge thank you!
Children's Mental Health Week took place from 9 - 15 February 2026. This year's theme was This is My Place and we encouraged families and community groups to support their children and young people to feel a sense of belonging.
If your family or community group fundraised during the week, remember to pay in your fundraising.
If your community group took part, you can still add yourself to our official map!

Where does my fundraising go?
All the money you raise with your family or community during the week goes towards Place2Be providing vital mental health support services for pupils, school staff and parents and carers in schools across the UK.
For every £1 invested, Place2Be's counselling service in primary schools has the potential to return £8 to society by improving the long-term outcomes for each child. Read our report to find out more.

Who started Children's Mental Health Week?
Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity who started Children's Mental Health Week in 2015.
In addition to providing counselling, mental health support and training in UK schools, we have expert parenting advice, tips and articles. We believe that children should not have to face mental health problems alone.
